OVERVIEW

Works within HR, EHS team to analyze and develop standards for preparing and delivering business reports. They help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports. They communicate results to managers and provide suggestions based on their findings. This person builds, automates and evaluates data reporting and dashboards in support of the global HR and EHS team, which encompasses payroll and accruals, human resources data such as headcount and departmental data, performance data such as global attrition and loss reason data, 401k audit reporting and participation in annual audit, and others as needed. They will optimize reporting from across disparate sources globally via PowerBI and related tools. Their primary point of impact is delivery of reporting and dashboards that enables swift decisions, reduces complexity, and enables single source of truth via dynamic, visual dashboards.

Essential Job Functions:

Reports to the Director, Global Compensation Strategy, Administration and Payroll.

  • Reporting and Dashboard Responsibilities
    • Create and maintain performance metrics and dashboards in collaboration with the director and CHRO, obtaining data from disparate sources globally and present in visually helpful ways, including use of paretos to dissect and present information which enables root cause analysis to be performed
    • Analyze and interpret data and produce reports that give insights into organizational performance
    • Manage and produce reports, and optimizes through in-depth understand of stakeholder use so that limited intervention is required on the part of the end user and enhanced productivity is realized
    • Work with managers and HR to understand and develop areas for optimization via reports and process
    • Develop a schedule, and manage ongoing preparation of reports, including biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and year end reports; Affirmation Action Plan, monthly headcount, annual departmental headcount for filings, 401k audit, attrition and other HR reporting metrics required for Monthly Business Review, etc.
  • Analytical Responsibilities
    • Seek connections through data and paretos of data that enable good decisions and optimization
    • Assess and perform analysis on collected wage and position, and prepares wage and salary data to facilitate compensation and management functions of organization
    • Member of 401k audit team responsible for answering data related questions
    • Key point of contact on Affirmative Action Plan responsible for answering data related questions
    • Serves as quadruple audit on executive compensation to ensure defect free administration
  • Payroll Responsibilities
    • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processes and employer payroll tax defects to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll and payroll tax; salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, deductions and executive Compensation.
    • Audit, reconcile and approves payroll processing bi-weekly internationally
    • Oversee month-end and year end closing process payroll including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, period end accruals, W-2's, etc.
    • Oversee internal and external audits including; 401k, governmental, workers' compensation, AAP, including SOX controls.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform various financial and system integration tasks associated with new company acquisitions
    • Communicate actively with HR, finance, accounting, and operations to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing
    • Position may involve minimal travel and a variety of duties and involvement in HR, EHS as needed

Key Systems; Dayforce Ceridian, Power BI, accounting payroll software knowledge

Required Education: College degree related field; business, finance, human resources

Knowledge Skills & Abilities; Strong proficiency in systems, Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based database tools; planning, organization, and communication skills; service oriented, natural diplomat can work with all levels of the organization
